For those of us of a certain age--alright, for us baby-boomers--Bob Newhart is regarded as one of the best comedians of all time.  It's good news for us to learn that he has just released first book, I Shouldn't Even Be Doing This!.  

It's Bob Newhart at Bob Newhart's best!  The full title is actually I Shouldn't Even Be Doing This!: And Other Things That Strike Me As Funny.

Probably everyone remembers Bob Newhart's two great television series, "The Bob Newhart Show" (available on DVD) and "Newhart."  They both make frequent appearances in syndication and both hold up very well after the passing years.  In fact, "The Bob Newhart Show" is my favorite TV show of all times.

Many of us grew up with the gentle humor of he audio recordings of his stand-up routines, like the classic "Button Down Mind of Bob Newhart."  I used to do the entire routines.  We even "test marketed" that one on our son as a teenager, and he loved it every much as I did.  The comedy is just plain timeless.
